1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through Stud & Track Building Materials via our website.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time without notice.


2. Products & Availability

All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.

Whilst we aim to keep stock levels accurate, stock shown online may occasionally change due to demand or supplier availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, a member of our team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternatives or next steps.

Product images are for illustration purposes only.

Product dimensions and specifications should always be checked before ordering.


3. Pricing & VAT

All prices shown on our website are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

VAT will be added at checkout.

Prices may be updated at any time without notice.

Bulk order pricing may be available — please contact our sales team directly.


4. Ordering

Orders can be placed online 24/7.

Once an order has been submitted, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

This confirms we have received your order but does not guarantee stock or delivery until reviewed by our team.

If we need to clarify any details, a member of our team will contact you.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order.


5. Delivery

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on postcode and order size.

We aim to dispatch stocked products as quickly as possible.

Next working day delivery may be available on stocked items ordered before 11:00am.

Where next day delivery is not available, delivery is typically 2–3 working days.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on location, stock availability, traffic or supplier delays.

Customers can add site notes or delivery instructions during checkout.

Our team may contact you to confirm delivery arrangements if required.


6. Delivery to Site

Please ensure:

  • Delivery address is correct
  • Site access is suitable
  • Someone is available to receive goods
  • Any special delivery instructions are provided during checkout

Failed deliveries caused by incorrect details or restricted access may result in additional charges.


7. Returns & Cancellations

Due to the nature of trade materials and supplier ordering, we do not accept returns on products ordered through the website.

Please check product sizes, quantities and specifications carefully before ordering.

If goods arrive damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

We may request photos and order details to investigate.


8. Damaged or Missing Goods

Please inspect all goods on delivery.

If anything is damaged, missing or incorrect, contact us within 24 hours:

9. Liability

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Supplier availability
  • Traffic or courier delays
  • Site access issues
  • Events outside our control

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods ordered.

Delivery Declaration

Read before ordering

Every delivery is carefully managed by our team to make sure you get the right materials, at the right time. Please read the below information to ensure you order runs smoothly.

All orders must include a full and accurate delivery address, together with the site contact name and telephone number. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided at the time of order is correct.

Customers must notify us in advance of any site-specific restrictions, including (but not limited to) access limitations, vehicle size restrictions, restricted delivery hours, or any other conditions that may affect delivery.

Our standard carriage charges are based on delivery via Articulated (Artic) or Rigid lorry, with off-loading carried out by one of the following methods:

  • Handball off-load, where safe and reasonably practicable
  • Forklift off-load on site, which must be provided and operated by the customer

Standard deliveries are scheduled between 9:00am and 1:00pm. While every effort will be made to meet this delivery window, it is provided as a guideline and cannot be guaranteed.

Any requirements outside of the standard carriage specification, including but not limited to alternative vehicle types, timed deliveries, restricted access arrangements, or specialist off-loading (e.g. HIAB or crane-assisted delivery), will be subject to additional charges.

Where a mechanical off-load vehicle is required, this must be requested at the time of order or no later than 5 working days prior to delivery. Such services are subject to availability and will be charged additionally (Price on Application).

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery site has suitable access, and that adequate labour and/or mechanical handling equipment are available to safely receive and off-load the goods.

Failure to provide accurate delivery details, adequate access, or appropriate off-loading arrangements may result in failed delivery, re-delivery charges, or delays, for which we shall not be held liable.

All deliveries will be made to the nearest safe and accessible point, at the sole discretion of the driver.

We review and confirm:  Our sales team will review your order details. If anything is missing or unclear, we’ll reach out to confirm everything is ready for a smooth delivery.

We organise your delivery: We work with trusted suppliers and delivery partners who use specialised vehicles to ensure your order is handled safely and delivered on time.

On the day: You’ll receive a call or email from your account manager to confirm the delivery date and time.
